Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a medical gauze 10 that can reliably prevent detachment of an x-ray contrast thread 3 without detracting from the softness of the medical gauze, and that offers excellent identifiability for the x-ray contrast thread 3 during X-ray radiography. [Solution] In a medical gauze 10 in a part of which an x-ray contrast thread 3 including an X-ray contrast agent is woven, the x-ray contrast thread 3 is composed of a design yarn 4 that includes a plurality of globular portions 41, 41 disposed at an interval in the thread length direction.
