Abstract:
A medical image processing device according to an embodiment has a first position acquisition unit, a first conversion unit, a first likelihood image generation unit, and a learning unit. The first position acquisition unit acquires a target position in each of a plurality of first images as a first position. The first conversion unit converts the first positions to second positions by expanding the movement over time of the first positions in a second direction which intersects a first direction in which the amount of movement is larger. The first likelihood image generation unit generates a first likelihood image showing the distribution of likelihood of the second positions using the second positions as references. The learning unit outputs a model which uses the plurality of first images and the first likelihood image as teacher data and, when receiving a part or the entirety of a perspective image, derives a second likelihood image showing the distribution of likelihood indicating the probability that the part or the entirety of the perspective image corresponds to the second positions.
