Abstract:
Disclosed are a medical image region segmentation method and a device therefor. The region segmentation device configures a first seed group and a second seed group respectively formed of, among voxels of a medical image, voxels included in a region to be segmented, and voxels included in the remaining region, applies weighted values to links between voxel nodes and a start node and an end node, and breaks the link having the smallest weighted value at the shortest path at which the sum of weighted values of paths connecting the start node and the end node is the smallest, thereby segmenting the medical image into two regions.
