Abstract:
A medical input device according to the present invention, which accepts an input of an instruction signal, comprises: a main body part which forms a casing body; a trackball which is disposed to partially protrude from the main body part and to be freely rotatable; a moving member, which further comprises an inclined surface up which the trackball is capable of climbing, and which is capable of moving in a direction which approaches the trackball or in a direction which recedes from the trackball; and an aperture forming member which is capable of forming at least an aperture which is smaller than the diameter of the trackball.
