Abstract:
A purpose of the present invention is to provide technology capable of exhibiting lubrication retention (sliding durability) and flexibility under harsh conditions. The present invention relates to a medical instrument comprising: a base material layer; and a surface lubrication layer formed on at least a portion of the base material layer. The surface lubrication layer contains: a polymer having a carboxyl group or salt thereof, or an ester; and a polyurethane. The polyurethane has an elongation rate of 700% or greater and a Young's modulus of 5.0 N/mm2 or greater.
