Abstract:
Provided are a medical observation system, a control device for an endoscope system, and a control method. The medical observation system comprises: a multilink structure having a plurality of links coupled to each other by joints; a medical observation device attached to the multilink structure; a control unit that controls the multilink structure or the medical observation device; and a user interface unit for a user to input instructions about changes to the visual field range of the medical observation device. The control unit controls the multilink structure or the medical observation device in accordance with user instructions, sent via the user interface unit, about the up/down/left/right movement of the visual field range of the medical observation device, the rotation of an oblique-viewing endoscope, and changes to the zoom magnification for the visual field range.
