Abstract:
Provided are a medical observation system, a control device, and a control method capable of preventing flickering of observation locations in an observed body and of achieving a compact device size. This medical observation system 1 is provided with: an image capturing element 212; a second control unit 94 that causes a light source device 3 to simultaneously emit second visible light and excitation light; and an image processing unit 91 that generates, to be included in image data, a fluorescent image based on first pixel values output by pixels on which first filters are arranged and a background image based on second pixel values output by pixels on which second filters are arranged.
