Abstract:
This medical stapler is used together with an endoscope and comprises: a flexible long part extending along the length direction of the endoscope; a wire that is inserted into the inside of the long part and can move forward and backward relative to the long part; a suturing part that can suture, with a staple, a part to be treated, wherein the part to be treated is connected to a tip end of the wire and held; an operation part that is connected to a rear end of the wire and ejects the staple from the suturing part by moving forward and backward the wire; and an ejection regulation means for regulating ejection of the staple when the tensile force added to the wire is equal to or less than first tensile force associated with a change in the shape of the long part.
