Abstract:
The present invention relates to the field of cell biology and medicine. Provided are medical uses of NOTCH4 or medical uses of an inhibitor of NOTCH4. Specifically, provided in the present invention are uses of NOTCH4 protein or NOTCH4 gene or the inhibitor thereof in preparing a medicament for promoting hematopoietic stem/progenitor cell diversification and megakaryocyte diversification, a medicament for treating megakaryocyte dysplasia, or a medicament for promoting platelet production.
