Abstract:

Disclosed is a medication pay-out device that can properly monitor the quantity of a solid medication without making counting mistakes due to overlap or contact among the solid medication or the existence of individual wrapping. The disclosed medication pay-out device has: a medication preparation means (50) provided with a reservoir section (55) that can store and discharge one package at a time of a solid medication supplied by a medication supply means; and a counting means that can count the solid medication discharged from the reservoir section (55). The counting means is provided with: a monitoring platform (62) on which the solid medication discharged from the reservoir section (55) rests; an oscillation means (64) that can oscillate the monitoring platform (62) horizontally; an imaging means (64) that can image the solid medication on the monitoring platform (62) that has been oscillated; and an image recognition means that can count the solid medication on the basis of the image obtained by the imaging means (64).
