Abstract:
This medicine issuing device is a container identifying device for recognizing tubular medicine containers (1, 2, 3) provided with identifying marks (4, 5, 6) on the external circumference thereof, the medicine issuing device comprising: an operation unit (7) that extracts the medicine containers (1, 2, 3) from a cassette (403); a transfer path unit (8) that moves the medicine containers (1, 2, 3) extracted by the operating unit (7) to an identifying location (9); a container rotating unit (10) that rotates the medicine containers (1, 2, 3), that were moved to a prescribed identifying location by the transfer path unit (8), along an external circumferential surface; and an identifying mark reading unit (11) that reads the identifying marks (4, 5, 6) of the medicine containers (1, 2, 3) rotated by the container rotating unit (10).
