Abstract:
Provided are a medium-holding body and a label creation method with which it is possible to reduce the possibility that printing defects will occur. A tape cassette 30 comprises: a first roll 40 on which is wound a printed tape 4 having a printing surface 4A and a reverse surface 4B that face mutually opposite directions; and a second roll 70 on which is wound an adhesive tape 7 that is a medium configured by laminating a double-sided adhesive tape and a separator, slits being formed in the separator. The printed tape 4 includes a first pull-out section 40B that is pulled out from the first roll 40. The adhesive tape 7 includes a second pull-out section 70B that is pulled out from the second roll 70. The reverse surface 4B at the first pull-out section 40B and the double-sided adhesive tape at the second pull-out section 70B are affixed to one another.
