The present disclosure provides a medium processing device comprising: a customer service part that performs receiving/dispensing of a medium with a user; a first unit that has a first conveyance part for conveying the medium; a second unit that has a second conveyance part for conveying the medium, and that is disposed within a casing; and a receiving/dispensing conveyance part that connects the first conveyance part and the second conveyance part via an opening formed in the casing. The receiving/dispensing conveyance part includes: a receiving/dispensing guide that forms a conveyance passage for guiding paper currency between the first conveyance part and the second conveyance part; a receiving/dispensing guide bracket that is disposed within the opening, and that holds the receiving/dispensing guide on the casing; and a tab part that is provided to at least one of the casing, the receiving/dispensing guide, and the receiving/dispensing guide bracket, and that is formed with a length such that the distal end thereof surpasses the opposing surface of the receiving/dispensing guide bracket, the casing or the receiving/dispensing guide which the tab part faces and is adjacent thereto with a gap therebetween.
