Abstract:
Provided is a melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester multifilament having excellent abrasion resistance. The melt-anisotropic aromatic polyester multifilament has a single yarn fineness of 10 to 80 dtex, wherein a dimethylsilicone-based finishing agent containing a dimethylsilicone-type compound having a weight average molecular weight of 15000 to 40000 is attached onto the fiber surface of the multifilament in an amount of 3 to 10 wt% relative to the mass of the multifilament.
