Abstract:
A melting furnace exhibiting excellent processing capacity and durability in which a matter being melted is not limited strictly and the melt is discharged readily. The melting furnace comprises a furnace body section having a sidewall and a bottom part for receiving a matter being melted, a melt discharging section disposed in the furnace body section and having a through hole for discharging melt, and an induction heating section for induction-heating the furnace body section, characterized in that at least a part of the sidewall of the furnace body section is composed of induction heaters comprising a plurality of columnar bodies.
