Abstract:
A member mounting device (4) allows an outer sleeve (19) to be mounted on an electric wire (15) from the tip thereof. The member mounting device (4) comprises: an electric wire chuck section (41) that grips the electric wire (15); a terminal insertion section (43) that retains the outer sleeve (19) and inserts the outer sleeve (19) from the tip of the electric wire (15) gripped by the electric wire chuck section (41), causing the outer sleeve (19) to move in the longitudinal direction of the electric wire (15) to a prescribed position on the electric wire (15); and an electric wire guide section that, while moving together with the terminal insertion section (43), guides the electric wire (15) forward in the direction of movement of the outer sleeve (19), which is moved by the terminal insertion section (43).
