Title:
MEMBER PROFILE TRANSFER METHOD, MEMBER PROFILE TRANSFER SYSTEM, AND USER DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/029945
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided are a member profile transfer method, a member profile transfer system, and a user device that are capable of safely transferring a member profile, etc., required for activating an eUICC between telecommunications carriers (operators), without using a Subscription Manager (SM). The eUICC (100) built into a UE (200) authenticates an AUTN sent from an HSS (300) and also: arithmetically calculates a transfer key (TK) using a secret key (K); obtains a transfer Token by decoding an enc Token using the transfer key (TK); obtains a new Customer ID by decoding an enc New ID by using the transfer key (TK); sends to the HSS (300) a user auth resp for a User auth + transfer Setup Req including the AUTN, the enc Token, and the enc New ID; generates a shared-Secret Key shared by the eUICC (100) and the HSS (400); and executes an attachment procedure for the HSS (400) by using the generated shared-Secret Key and the new Customer ID.
