Abstract:
A membrane element, comprising a filtering membrane (11) having a raw water flow path and a pure water flow path, wherein the outlet of the raw water flow path is located on at least one side of the filtering membrane; a membrane protection device (2) is fitted over the filtering membrane (11) and is provided with at least one opening (21) in communication with the outlet of the raw water flow path; the membrane protection device (2) directs a fluid flowing out from the outlet of the raw water flow path out of the membrane protection device (2) by means of the opening (21). Deposition of contaminants at the outlet of the raw water flow path can be reduced and the service life of the membrane element is effectively prolonged.
