Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of providing a membrane-separated activated sludge treatment method whereby operation energy consumption is suppressed and fluctuations in waste water inflow volumes can be accommodated without using a regulating tank. This membrane-separated activated sludge treatment method comprises: a step in which waste water is biologically treated; and a step in which the treatment water in the biological treatment step is membrane-separated. In the membrane-separation step, a plurality of filtration modules and a plurality of cleaning modules are used and the volume of treated water sucked into the filtration modules and the amount of air bubbles supplied to the cleaning modules are changed in accordance with changes in the volume of waste water that flows into the biological treatment step, said plurality of filtration modules having a plurality of hollow fiber membranes extended and aligned in one direction and a pair of holding members that fix this plurality of hollow fiber membranes at both ends and said plurality of cleaning modules supplying air bubbles from below the filtration modules.
