Abstract:
Provided is a memory module (NVMMD) comprising a first non-volatile memory device (NVM) and a controller (MDLCT) for controlling the same, and in order to achieve improved performance, reliability, and lifespan, the controller is configured so that on the basis of a first data retention period, which is the time period in which the first non-volatile memory device can retain data, it is determined whether data will be written to the first non-volatile memory device.
