Abstract:
The present invention is applicable to the field of communications, and provides an MEP configuration method and a network device. The method comprises: an Ethernet device receiving a CCM, parsing the CCM to obtain configuration information in the CCM and a virtual local area network (VLAN) of the CCM; and the Ethernet device determining, according to the configuration information, whether the CCM is an MEP configuration to be configured, and if it is determined that the CCM is the MEP configuration to be configured, implementing the MEP configuration according to the configuration information and the VLAN of the CCM. The method provided in a specific implementation manner of the present invention has the advantage of automatically configuring an MEP.
