Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to prevent scattering of powder feedstock while a production line is active, prevent adhesion of the scattered powder feedstock to, for example, a roller conveyor, control against improper tracking of a mesh belt, and increase product life. The present invention, a mesh belt for use in producing a water absorbing body, is formed by interweaving warp and weft and is characterized by at least one of the yarns constituting the warp and/or weft that appears on the conveyance-surface side of the mesh belt being composed of a conductive material. In particular, it is preferable for one or more yarns constituting the warp that appears on the conveyance-surface side to be composed of a conductive material.
