Abstract:
This meshing chain (12) comprises at least a pair of chain members (12A, 12B) capable of advancing and retreating. Each of the chain members (12A, 12B) is provided with: a plurality of link plates (22, 30) each comprising a pair of pin holes (21, 29); and a plurality of connecting pins (23). Each of the link plates (22, 30) comprises meshing surfaces (25, 32) on one end in an advance-retreat direction (Z) and engagement surfaces (27, 34) on the other end in the advance-retreat direction (Z). Among chain members (12A, 12B) forming a pair, the link plates of one chain member (12A) are first link plates (22) and the link plates of the other chain member (12B) are second link plates (30). First engagement surfaces (27) in the first link plates (22) are provided with engagement recesses (28) extending along said first engagement surfaces (27). Second engagement surfaces (34) in the second link plates (30) are provided with engagement protrusions (35) that extend along said second engagement surfaces (34) and that are fitted together with the engagement recesses (28) when the first engagement surfaces (27) and the second engagement surfaces (34) engage.
