Abstract:
A message processing method and system, a proxy call session control function device and a server. The method comprises: receiving a request message from a user; acquiring access type information of the user from a policy and charging rules function device; checking the request message according to the acquired access type information; and sending the request message that is coincident with the access type information, to another network element. By using the present invention, the proxy call session control function device can determine whether a header field comprises accurate information and can perform a terminating domain selection, so as to more effectively use a VoIP service by means of WiFi and other communications standards, and more accurately estimate charges for using the VoIP service.
