Abstract:
Provided is a metal-air battery capable of attaching an air electrode to an outer package easily and in a short time, the outer package being a configuration formed from paper. An outer package 11 is formed from paper laminated with a thermoplastic resin. The outer package 11 has an opening 22K covered with an air electrode 13. The outer package 11 and the air electrode 13 are bonded by thermal fusion between the thermoplastic resin of the outer package 11 along the entire circumference of the opening 22k and a catalyst sheet 13B configuring the catalyst layer of the air electrode 13. An impermeable film covering the edges of the opening 22K is thermally fused at the opposite side of the air electrode 13 across the opening 22K.
