Title:
METAL-AIR CELL AND METHOD FOR REMOVING OXIDE FILM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/064334
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a metal-air cell and a method for removing an oxide film wherein an oxide film can be suitably removed while reducing the waste of power used to remove an oxide film. A metal-air cell (1) according to the present invention comprises: a cell body (2) where a metal electrode and an air electrode face each other with an electrolyte interposed therebetween; a USB terminal (8) to which an external load is connected; and a control unit (9) for electrically connecting the cell body and the USB terminal. The control unit includes: a microcomputer (14) that determines whether or not an external load is connected to the USB terminal; and a resister (15) for removing an oxide film. When the microcomputer determines that an external load is connected, a current for removing an oxide film flows in a circuit including the metal electrode, the air electrode, and the resister for removing an oxide film.
