Abstract:
In a metal fiber molded body (40), the proportion of the abundance rate of metal fibers in a second cross section orthogonal to a first cross section with respect to the abundance rate of metal fibers in the first cross section is in a range of 0.85-1.15. This method for manufacturing the metal fiber molded body (40) includes: a step for accumulating a plurality of metal short fibers (30) on a reception part; and a step for generating the metal fiber molded body (40) by sintering the plurality of metal short fibers (30) accumulated on the reception part.
