Abstract:
The present invention is a metal ink which contains metal particles that are composed of silver, a protection agent A that is composed of an amine compound, and a protection agent B that is composed of a fatty acid. The protection agent A is composed of at least one amine compound that has from 4 to 12 (inclusive) carbon atoms; and the protection agent B is composed of at least one fatty acid that has from 22 to 26 (inclusive) carbon atoms. It is preferable that the content of the amine compound is from 0.2 mmol/g to 1.5 mmol/g (inclusive) relative to the silver particles on a mass basis. It is also preferable that the content of the fatty acid is from 0.01 mmol/g to 0.06 mmol/g (inclusive) relative to the silver particles on a mass basis.
