Abstract:
Provided is a metal powder which can, when processed into a working surface of a tool for hot working, for example, an anvil, a mold for hot forging such as a metal mold or a roll for hot rolling, prolong the working life of the tool for hot working.
The metal powder comprises, in terms of mass%: not more than 0.02% of B; not more than 0.050% of O; 0.01-0.15% of C; not more than 0.01% of Mg; 0.5-2% of Al; 0-1% of Si; 0-1% of Mn; 1-3% of Ti; 15-22% of Cr; 2-15% of Co; not more than 3% of Nb; 3-7% of Mo; 1-7% of Ta; 3-7% of W; 1-7% in total of Ta, either alone or as Ta+2Nb; with the balance consisting of Ni and impurities.
