Abstract:
The present invention relates to a metal sorting apparatus for treating mine waste. The metal sorting apparatus for treating the mine waste provides: a metal sorting unit which is formed in a cylindrical shape having a cavity and in which the tailing is inserted into the inside of the cylinder; a metal collection unit which is located at one side of an inner circumference of the metal sorting unit and collects metal materials separated from the tailing inserted into the metal sorting unit; and a rotation unit which is located at one side of an outer circumference of the metal sorting unit and rotates the metal sorting unit in one direction, wherein the metal sorting unit is formed with a magnet so as to separate magnetic materials from the tailing inserted into the inside of the metal sorting unit, and thereby provides the technique for selectively separating heavy metals and organic metals included in the tailing. The present invention prevents environmental pollution due to chemicals by removing the use of additional chemicals in the process for separating the tailing, and thereby creates economical effects. Furthermore, the present invention shortens a manufacturing process in comparison with the prior organic metal separation process by separating the magnetic materials and nonmagnetic materials included in the tailing from each other through the simple operation of inserting the tailing into the metal sorting unit. In addition, the present invention can rapidly separate and collect the organic metals and the heavy metals from the tailing.
