Abstract:
Provided is a metallic collar which, even if mounted to a resin part with small interference, is unlikely to become dislodged from the resin part after the mounting.
A circular cylindrical metallic collar (10) is provided with: an upper circular cylindrical section (11) located at the axially upper part of the metallic collar (10); a lower circular cylindrical section (12) located at the axially lower part of the metallic collar (10); and a deformable section (15) provided between the upper circular cylindrical section and the lower circular cylindrical section and deformed more easily than the upper circular cylindrical section and the lower circular cylindrical section. The metallic collar has formed therein an axially extending through-hole (13). The deformable section is annealed by being subjected to laser irradiation. The metallic collar is inserted into a mounting hole (33) in a resin part (30) and is pressed in the center axis direction by a fastening tool. The deformable section, which can be easily deformed, is expanded in diameter to become an expanded-diameter section (15a). The expanded-diameter section (15a) bites into the inner surface of the mounting hole of the resin part to affix the metallic collar to the resin part.
