Abstract:
A metamaterial, and a method and apparatus thereof for adjusting a frequency. The metamaterial comprises a substrate material (11), an electrically-controllable microstructure unit array, and varactors (15). The electrically-controllable microstructure unit array is disposed on the substrate material (11), and comprises multiple electrically-controllable microstructure units (13). Each electrically-controllable microstructure unit (13) comprises an outer metal structure (132) and an inner metal structure (131). The inner metal structure (131) and the outer metal structure (132) form an annular channel (17). Each varactor (15) is disposed in the channel (17) of the corresponding electrically-controllable microstructure unit (13), and is used for adjusting a working frequency of the electrically-controllable microstructure unit (13) according to voltages loaded on two ends of the varactor (15). The solution resolves the technical problem in the prior art of failure to rapidly and accurately adjust the working frequency of the metamaterial.
