Abstract:
[PROBLEMS] To prevent lumps of articles (groups of articles stored in one lump
from scattering and spreading when dropped, thus to prevent failures including
one where a seal is caught in a filling device placed below and, at the same time,
and to achieve higher article discharge speed obtained by a reduction in the length
of a drop of the groups of articles, a reduction in contact resistance between
the groups of articles and a sidewall during a drop, etc. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE
PROBLEMS] This metering apparatus is characterized in that the shapes and the
opening degrees of gates (31, 32) can be changed so that the lower opening (3c)
of a hopper (3) can be located within the reception opening (41) of the filling
device (4) when viewed from above.
