Abstract:
The embodiments of the invention disclose a method of acquiring location information, an associated apparatus, and a trunk communication system. The method is applicable to a trunk communication system comprising a server and a plurality of terminals. The method comprises: a server receives a location information request transmitted from a first terminal and comprising an indication indicative of a mapping relationship with a target terminal, wherein the indication is used to acquire location information of the target terminal; and the server transmits, to the first terminal, according to the location information request, the acquired location information of the target terminal. The embodiments of the invention also provide a server and a trunk communication system. In the embodiments of the invention, one in the plurality of terminals can actively obtain the location information of the target terminal without obtaining a permission.
