Abstract:
Disclosed in various embodiments of the present invention are a method and a device, which comprises a touch sensor, a fingerprint sensor, a display, a memory and a processor operatively connected to the touch sensor, the fingerprint sensor, the display, and the memory, wherein the processor receives a fingerprint authentication request corresponding to a set condition, changes a touch detection condition of the touch sensor on the basis of first touch raw data stored in the memory, acquires second touch raw data on the basis of the changed touch detection condition, determines whether the acquired second touch raw data exceeds a set threshold value, and controls that the fingerprint sensor is activated on the basis of the determination result. Various embodiments are possible.
