Abstract:
Provided is a method for aligning a calibration device (100) with a vehicle (200) and an auxiliary target (210), relating to the field of vehicle (200) maintenance and device calibration. The calibration device (100) comprises a calibration frame (10) and a calibration laser (20), the calibration frame (10) comprising a lateral beam (12); the method comprises: placing the vehicle (200) on a horizontal surface (S310); setting a calibration center point such that the calibration center point is located on the intersection of the central axis of the vehicle (200) and the horizontal plane, and is a preset calibration distance (X2) from the plane passing the front of the vehicle (200) and perpendicular to the horizontal plane or the plane passing the center of the two front wheels of the vehicle and perpendicular to the horizontal plane (S2) (S320); turning on a calibration laser (20) so that same emits two fan-shaped light beams, the two fan-shaped light beams forming a first laser light line (M1) and a second laser light line (M2) which intersect and are perpendicular to each other in the horizontal plane (S330); adjusting the position of the lateral beam (12), causing the intersection of the first laser light line (M1) and the second laser light line (M2) to coincide with the calibration center point, the first laser light line (M1) coinciding with the intersection of the central axis of the vehicle (200) and the horizontal plane (S340). By means of aligning the calibration device (100) with the vehicle (200), the calibration device (100) and the vehicle (200) can be aligned easily and quickly.
