Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of the Internet. Provided are a method and apparatus for accessing a server, a device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: acquiring a target domain name corresponding to a target service, and obtaining, on the basis of the target domain name, IP addresses of servers for providing the target service; ordering the obtained IP addresses according to access speeds from fastest to slowest so as to obtain an initial ordered list; deleting n IP addresses from the bottom of the initial ordered list to obtain a target ordered list, where n is a positive integer; and sending the target ordered list to a client, such that when the client needs to access the target domain name, the client accesses servers corresponding to the IP addresses on the target ordered list in order from the first IP address to the last IP address. The technical solution provided in an embodiment of the present invention ensures the efficiency of accessing a service by a client when a network environment in which a domain name server is located is poor.
