Abstract:
A method for controlling a mouse cursor of a handheld input device, comprising: upon detection that the state of a first key is a pressed state or a touch state, controlling a mouse cursor to move at a first preset sensitivity (S101); and upon detection that the state of the first key is a released state or an untouched state, controlling the mouse cursor to move at a second preset sensitivity, and highlighting the mouse cursor, and/or highlighting the content at the position where the mouse cursor is located (S102), the first sensitivity being higher than the second sensitivity. When movement is conducted at the first sensitivity, the requirement of an operator for quickly moving the mouse cursor can be satisfied; and when movement is conducted at the second sensitivity, the operator can control the movement of the mouse cursor more precisely and eliminate the jitter of the handheld input device during key pressing, and the mouse cursor and/or the content at the position where the mouse cursor is located are highlighted, so that the operator can click a function key to complete an input operation while moving the mouse cursor, facilitating improvement of the convenience and accuracy of the operation.
