Disclosed in the present application is a method for creating a connector. A user can trigger a connector creation operation in a first page, and a client can display a second page in response to the connector creation operation, wherein the second page is a connector configuration page; the user can trigger an interface parameter configuration operation in the second page, and correspondingly, in response to the interface parameter configuration operation which is triggered by the user in the second page, a serving end can acquire an interface parameter which is configured by the user, and generate a target connector on the basis of the interface parameter; and the target connector can be used for converting a message packaged by using a first data protocol into a message packaged by using a second data protocol. It can be seen therefrom that by using the present solution, there is no need for a user to write a software code corresponding to a target connector so as to generate the target connector, and the user creates the target connector by means of triggering a connector creation operation and an interface parameter configuration operation, thereby improving the efficiency of creating the target connector.
