Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of virtual worlds. Disclosed is a method for decorating a virtual room. The method comprises: displaying a first virtual room and a first virtual character located in the first virtual room, wherein the first virtual room and the first virtual character belong to a first account; in response to a first switching operation for entering a second virtual room, displaying the second virtual room, and controlling the first virtual character to enter the second virtual room, wherein the second virtual room does not belong to the first account, and at least one virtual prop is placed in the second virtual room; in response to a selection operation for a target prop among the at least one virtual prop, displaying a purchase interface for the target prop; in response to a purchase operation on the purchase interface, acquiring, as the target prop, a virtual prop owned by the first account; in response to a second switching operation for returning to the first virtual room, controlling the first virtual character to return to the first virtual room; and in response to a placement operation for the target prop, placing the target prop in the first virtual room.
