Abstract:
A method and apparatus for determining ambient light intensity, and a storage medium, relating to the technical field of display. In the method, a terminal device (20) comprises a display screen (21, 304) and an ambient light sensor (12, 303). An ambient light detection region (211) is provided in the display screen (21, 304), and the ambient light sensor (12, 303) is provided in the coverage range of the ambient light detection region (211). The color value of the target color in the ambient light detection region (211) is determined when the display screen (21, 304) is turned on and the integration period of the ambient light sensor (12, 303) starts. In the integration period, the ambient light detection region (211) is controlled to display the target color. The ambient light sensor (12, 303) detects a first ambient light intensity, the brightness value of the display screen (21, 304) and a target influence value of the color value of the target color on the first ambient light intensity are determined, and the first ambient light intensity is corrected according to the target influence value to obtain a second ambient light intensity. In this way, the color value of the target color is single, a method for calculating the target influence value is simple, and the accuracy is high, and the obtained second ambient light intensity tends to the real ambient light intensity.
