The present application relates to the technical field of solid state disks, and disclosed thereby are a method and apparatus for determining retention time of offline data, a device, and a medium. The method comprises: when an SSD is powered off, determining the average value of a Gaussian distribution corresponding to an NAND voltage threshold distribution on a specified word line, obtaining first data, determining a data retention time corresponding to the SSD at a specified moment, and obtaining an initial retention time, the specified moment being a moment when data is finally written to the SSD by means of the specified word line before a power-off moment; when the SSD is powered on, determining the average value of the Gaussian distribution corresponding to the NAND voltage threshold distribution on the specified word line, and obtaining second data; and according to the first data and the second data, determining a data retention time of the SSD from the power-off moment to a power-on moment, and according to the data retention time and the initial retention time, determining an offline data retention time of the SSD.
