Abstract:
The present application relates to the technical field of wireless communications. Provided are a method and apparatus for discarding candidate channels. The solution comprises: in response to meeting a limiting condition for the number of times of blind detection, discarding at least some candidate channels of search spaces and/or stopping detecting at least one piece of control signaling on at least some candidate channels, wherein the limiting condition for the number of times of blind detection is: the first number of times of blind detection of the current search space to be subjected to blind detection is greater than the remaining maximum number of times of blind detection; or the second number of times of blind detection of the remaining search spaces to be subjected to blind detection is greater than the remaining maximum number of times of blind detection; or the third number of times of blind detection of all search spaces configured on the current slot is greater than the maximum number of times of blind detection. Therefore, the discarding of candidate channels is realized, and a channel discarding policy, in which all candidate channels of all remaining search spaces are discarded when the number of PDCCH candidate channels configured for a terminal device exceeds the maximum number of times of blind detection, is not used any more, such that unnecessary PDCCH candidate channel discarding and unnecessary PDCCH blocking are avoided.
