Abstract:
The present invention relates to a cellular wireless communication system and, more particularly, to a method for searching for a predetermined base station by a terminal by defining a discovery signal, recognizing a state of the base station, acquiring time/frequency synchronization of the base station, and measuring an intensity of a signal from the base station, in order to allow the base station to operate in a plurality of states such as an active state and a dormant state.
