Abstract:
A method for evaluating a contact state of an ultrasound probe (308, 802, 901) on the basis of soft tissue morphology. The method comprises the steps of: S11: collecting ultrasound information of morphological responses of an object under test (307) for different contact states; S12: on the basis of a feature of soft tissue and a boundary feature of the soft tissue in the ultrasound information, recognizing a boundary position of the soft tissue in the ultrasound information; S13: on the basis of the boundary position and a preset area division condition, determining an area of interest (301) and a sampling sub-area in the area of interest (301); S14: extracting a morphological parameter of the soft tissue from the selected area of interest (301); S15: according to the morphological parameter, calculating a predicted value that represents the contact state of an ultrasound probe (308, 802, 901) by using at least one morphological response of the soft tissue; and S16: converting the predicted value into a time-varying indication signal. On the basis of an existing ultrasound imaging device, and by using software technical means, an apparatus for evaluating a contact state of an ultrasound probe (308, 802, 901) on the basis of soft tissue morphology can accurately calculate the contact state of the ultrasound probe (308, 802, 901) without needing to change the hardware, thereby facilitating the operation of the apparatus by an operator.
