Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and apparatus for generating a lane centerline. The method comprises: determining, according to lane line image information, whether a lane line on one side is not clear; if so, respectively determining effective distances of lane lines on both sides according to clear parts of the lane lines on the both sides, wherein the effective distances are distances at which a visual terminal identifies clear lane lines; adjusting a coefficient of a lane centerline equation on the basis of the difference between the effective distances of the lane lines on the both sides; and determining a lane centerline by using the adjusted lane centerline equation. According to the present invention, the accuracy of generating a lane centerline can be effectively improved.
