Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and apparatus for generating subtitles, wherein same fall within the field of videos. The method comprises: acquiring a first position, in a plane coordinate system, of a pixel point comprised in a character to be generated; calculating, according to the first position of the pixel point, a second position of the pixel point on a subtitle spherical surface; and rendering, according to the second position of the pixel point, the pixel point on the subtitle spherical surface, so as to form the character to be generated. The apparatus comprises: an acquisition module, a calculation module and a rendering module. According to the embodiments of the present application, subtitles of a panoramic video can be displayed.
