Abstract:

A method and apparatus for installing a plug-in, and a storage medium. The method comprises: receive a first user operation, the first user operation being used for requesting to install a first plug-in related to a first application; the first application comprising a first plug-in framework and at least one plug-in associated with the first plug-in framework; the major version number of each of the at least one plug-in being the same as that of the first plug-in framework; the first plug-in being different from the at least one plug-in; an electronic device receives the first plug-in from a server; the electronic device detects whether the major version number of the first plug-in is the same as that of the first plug-in framework; and if yes, install the first plug-in. The method can be applied in an artificial intelligence plug-in.
