Abstract:
An electronic device comprises: a communication module which supports a wireless communication connection; at least one processor operatively connected to the communication module; and a memory operatively connected to the at least one processor, wherein the memory may store instructions which, upon execution, allow the at least processor to establish a channel connection with an external electronic device through the communication module, obtain information about the external electronic device, determine, on the basis of the information about the external electronic device, the maximum allowed number of connections of the external electronic device or whether to carry out broadcasting of the external electronic device, and transmit, to the external electronic device, configuration information including at least one of the determined maximum allowed number of connections or whether to carry out the broadcasting. Various other embodiments identified by the specification are also possible.
