Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a silica aerogel blanket, and a silica aerogel blanket manufacturing apparatus used in the method. The method comprises the steps of: (1) drying a silica wet gel through a supercritical drying process using a supercritical extractor; (2) separating an extract, extracted from the supercritical extractor, into a gas phase including CO2 and a liquid phase including a solvent through a separator, and discharging same; and (3) condensing, in a condenser, the gas phase including CO2 and discharged from the separator, wherein the separation in the separator takes place under a pressure condition of 60 bar to 90 bar, and the gas phase including CO2 and discharged from the separator is condensed by the condenser to have a temperature of at least 10°C and a pressure of 60 bar to 90 bar.
